Football Crazy

A special programme based on John Cairney's book, A Scottish Football Hall of Fame, and intended primarily for football clubs and their supporters, this show is unashamedly Scottish and sentimental. Football Crazy is an evocation in anecdote, statistic and song about this beautiful game from its Roman beginnings until the Bosman Ruling of 1995 changed it forever.

John Cairney explores the passion every boy once felt for his local heroes when he supported them from the terraces and not from a couch in his sitting-room. Question time after the lecture is often the most stimulating part of the evening.
